Possessed.

I love the idea behind Italian photographer Camilla Catrambone's unconventional family portraits - each is meant to characterize a different family member through a selection of their signature possessions. Though I'd be able to single out items for several of my own family members - my dad, for instance, wears a colorful assortment of bracelets and has always had a Zen Page-A-Day calendar on his desk - I'm not sure what I'd choose to feature in a self-portrait. What would you include?

  2. How cool! It reminds me of Amelie, when it shows the mom and dad taking out the stuff from their toolbox and purse and cleaning it out.

It'd be hard to pick, because I know what I'd want to include, but would have to weed it out to what I should include :)

  3. What an awesome idea! The two things that I would include in mine would be my teddy bear, "Teddy" that I've had my whole life and my record player (vinyl included). Odd assortment...

  6. Tara, yes! I know what you mean.

Alex, I love that odd assortment! :) Mine might include a battered notebook I carry with me everywhere, a floor-length kimono that I wear at least three times a week, and a Polaroid camera. Possibly also something chocolate-related.
