Amelia, Wild.

Monday, May 13, 2013

Photographer Robin Schwartz has been photographing her daughter, Amelia, now thirteen, in the company of animals for over a decade. Amelia, Robin says, is a natural; however, her daughter favors certain critters over others. According to a March 2012 New York Times feature, "She says she connects with most of the animals, though admits the spark just wasn't there with a sloth."

Okay, how did she get to hang out with a BABY tiger?! I am so jealous. I want a baby polar bear.

Also, the ice cream shot with the deer? Fantastic. That is so cool!

I LOVE this series. It's so beautiful to see her connection with the animals and also her body language changing as she gets older.

Ahhh so cute! You really can't go wrong with animals and children =] It seems like she's an animal magnet; they must be able to tell how much she loves them.
