Time Wasting.

Alyson Provax's "Time Wasting Experiment" chronicles - in letterpress - time the printmaker has spent procrastinating. "This series is a sort of audit of how I spend my time," she writes, "but the prints could also be thought of as permission slips allowing you to spend a period of time in a wasteful way."

How refreshing. See more at Alyson's website, here, and Etsy shop, here.

  1. HAH. Oh man, I could fill a book with time-wasting activities like these. I think she's onto something. :)

  3. Yesss! I love this. It reminds me of that episode of The Office where Pam has to make a time sheet of what Michael does all day. One hour on the time sheet just says "Bill Cosby Impression." Haha!ui

  4. Yes, I can relate. I should start timing myself when I relive embarrassing moments.

  10. Oh, I LOVE this Shoko! I wonder how many minutes of my life I've compared nearly identical options or dreaded the inevitable. Actually, come to think of it, I'd rather NOT know :)

    Lydia, me, too...

    Bea, I agree! :)

FTLA, any time spent playing with a miniature schnauzer is not time wasted!

  12. I love this. My days have been filled with many many minutes staring at empty boxes wishing they would fill themselves. Then a few more minutes staring at empty suitcases convinced all our things won't fit. Then five minutes dreading the whole packing process... And only then does any actual packing begin.
