Williamsburg Week.

What a week! My brother Max and sister-in-law, Margaux, paid an impromptu visit to Brooklyn and we spent three sun-soaked days eating up a storm and weathering a sudden heatwave. Below, some photos from our week together, courtesy of our Instagram accounts. (By the way, I just joined - you can follow me at @my_shokoko!)

Highlights included French fries and ice cream at Reynards at the Wythe Hotel (our waiter told us it was the best order he'd ever seen), sunset on the hotel rooftop, and oysters at Maison Premiere. Also, that's me at middle right, spying on cute boys from Max and Margaux's hotel room window.

Oh, and I forgot to mention - my new Equals Record post went live on Tuesday. This week, I wrote about the general lack of free time in my life these days (which is truly a double-edged sword). You can find the post, here. Thank you so much for reading!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! See you on Monday.

  9. Gorgeous photos! And I totally understand the double-edged sword of having a packed daily schedule. I love being busy with work, freelance projects, friends, family and my hobbies--but sometimes the lack of downtime can be tiring. I actually posted about that on my blog this week, too!

  10. What did we do without Instagram?

And I totally know what you mean about the lack of free time (yet I get mini panic attacks when I have too much "free time").

  12. French fries with mayo is truly one of the best combinations. It's the bread and butter of fried things. I can't get enough. I've also heard great things about the Wythe! A staycation may have to happen before summer's over!

  15. I'll be sure to follow! Luving the pics! The Wythe just opened up recently right? You could teach me a thing or two about Bklyn. I went to High school out there and we've checked out the zoo, the Botanical Gardens,Coney Island & the Aquarium but that's about it {the touristy stuff}.
Has your fam left already? It's Renegade Craft Fair weekend! I'm hoping to check it out. Happy Weekend!
