Pendants, Poetry, and Pina.

After a weekend of decadence (a toasted baguette with butter, cream, and jam both mornings for breakfast; an impromptu manicure and pedicure after locking myself out of my apartment; cookies and milk at midnight), today seems as good a time as ever for another installment of Monday morning daydreaming. Here's circus-inspired jewelry,

Lemony Snicket on love,

and the trailer for Pina, which I saw on Sunday night, in lieu of the Superbowl. Spectacular.

Enjoy your Monday!

  2. Haha I love that the penalty for locking yourself out is pretty hands and feet. I almost can't wait for the next time I forget my keys!

    Happy Monday :)

  7. April, yes, I certainly did. I was very spoiled this weekend!

Kate, I was so upset when I realized I didn't have my keys - I figured, best to make light of an unfortunate situation! :)

Panda Head, Lydia, and Nina, I loved it, too. And of course I don't mind if you share, Nina - I can't take credit for it!

  8. I'm with everyone about Lemony Snicket's love letter. I might share it as well on my blog if only to remember it and keep it close.

  9. That Lemony Snicket love letter is just too sweet and adorable - even the handwriting is perfect.

One of my favorite breakfasts in France were crunchy baguettes still warm from the oven, slathered with tons of Normandy butter flecked with little sea salt crystals, and Christine Farber strawberry jam... one of the greatest, simple pleasures in life :)

Christine, that sounds like the breakfasts I had this weekend. So simple, so perfect. I'd eat like that every day if I could!
