As of yesterday morning, I hadn't heard of singer-songwriter LP. Eighteen hours later, I've probably listened to "Into the Wild" (see the video featured below) about a hundred times. For lack of a better description, this lovely lady is just the coolest. Her band is, too. And? The girl can whistle. Watch and see.

I know it's Monday. I know it's early. I know many of you are at your desks at work. But if you have a spare moment at any point today (or tomorrow, or the next day, or this week), you must watch Queen's performance of "Somebody to Love" from the excellent concert film Queen: Rock Montreal. I promise you, you will love it.

Have you ever played the "fantasy dinner party" game, where you're asked to name who you'd invite to dinner if you could choose anyone, dead or alive? I could go on for days with my list, but it'd definitely be musician-heavy: Patti Smith, Keith Richards, Pete Townshend, Bob Dylan - and, of course, this guy below. Who's on your list?

Lip-Dub Love.

I just couldn't resist - this video is too good not to share. Writes Neetzan Zimmerman of Gawker, "YouTuber kkpalmer1000 is a big fan of Beyonce's music, so, naturally, he put on a blue Snuggie and recorded a shot-for-shot lip-dub remake of her music video for 'Countdown.'" Awesome.

Whew, what a busy week! I've got a few deadlines awaiting me over the weekend, but in between jobs, I'm hoping to catch up with an old friend and possibly make it to the beach. What are your plans?
