Windows.

I've been dreaming of travel lately, and artist Jim Darling's paintings of the views outside airplane windows are only fueling the wanderlust. (My favorite's the one of the city at night.)

See more at Jim Darling's website, here. In other news, I hope you're all having a lovely start to the week. I'm still recovering after three very late nights in a row - yesterday, I capped off a falafel-filled evening with a showing of Django Unchained. Have any of you seen it yet? Thoughts?

  5. I love the night one best too. That's my favorite part about flying-getting to look at the city below at night. So peaceful.

  6. Agreed re: nightscape being the favorite. It feels much more mysterious.

Haven't seen Django - it looks a little unsettling, but then again, so do all Tarantino movies. What'd you think?

  7. Molly, it was so intense! And yes, unsettlingly violent. Still, I was very entertained... :)

  8. Neat. I could go for some good falafel. It's so hard to find decent Israeli food in Vegas.

  9. Paintings! What a great idea.

I want to see Django Unchained; it's so controversial, so I'd like to see what I think of it as a little, white Midwestern girl, haha. And falafel = yummmm.
