Holiday Gift Ideas: READ.

For bibliophiles: a Frank Lloyd Wright bookmark and and an Oscar Wilde candle, a strap that turns stacks of books into seating, and a golden pig to keep your tomes standing tall.

Also, three books that would make great gifts:
-"Bluets" by Maggie Nelson, author of the beautiful poem referenced here.
-"Who I Am," a memoir by Pete Townshend, one of my all-time favorites.

Tomorrow, gifts for those with an eye for fashion...

  2. I like to think I'm a very easy person to buy presents for - especially loving the My Ideal Bookshelf book. Maybe I should refer friends to your blog for inspiration.

  4. Ooh, that book stool is so clever - it would definitely solve the lack of seating in my house! And who doesn't need a gold pig in their home? Such good picks, Shoko!

  6. These are great gifts, regardless if the recipient is a reader! How innovative is that book stool? I've had my eye on those series of candles for awhile now, they smell so good too! And the face on that sweet little hog... kills me.
