Hello, June.

Hello, rooftop picnics. Hello, cocktails on the stoop. Hello, popsicles for breakfast (for the record, yes, that's happened). Hello, lazy afternoons at the park and first blissed-out beach trips of the season. Ahh. There's so much to look forward to about June.

How will you be ringing in the new month? This weekend, I'll be heading to the Brooklyn Flea, and am hoping to do a little (late) spring cleaning. Time to pack away those winter clothes!

See you Monday!

Citizens for Optimism.

A team of talented designers are challenged to create original work inspired by one word relating to optimism. The result? Citizens for Optimism. Below, a few of my favorites. (Oh, and while we're on the subject, a few things that have made me happy lately: going coatless on deliriously warm March days,  this movie, squinting in the sunshine at a McCarren Park picnic. What about you?)

Smile.

I don't know mega-pinner Luce de Luce personally, but I love that she has a Pinterest board dedicated solely to smiles. Have a look and a laugh, and I'll see you Monday.

PS: Know the original photographers? Please share! I'd love to give proper credit.
